Gary L. Smith

Gary L. Smith Gary graduated with honors from the University of Kansas, and graduated from DePaul University College of Law with two academic awards in 1980.  He is married to Kelly Smith, and has three grown children as well as three stepchildren. He and Kelly share twelve grandchildren.  Gary was selected by Governor John Ashcroft to serve on the Public Defender Commission in 1988, and served in that capacity for 14 years, several as Chairman.  He is a member of the Camdenton Rotary Club and Masonic Lodge.  Gary has served on the Board of Directors of LEEP in Lebanon, The Babe Ruth World Series, and Kids Harbor.  He currently serves on the board of Lake Area Industries as well as the Camdenton Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as Municipal Judge of Osage Beach, Missouri.  Gary has been active in church having served on numerous boards and commissions.  He also has served on the Missouri Bar Family Law Committee. In addition to family law he does civil litigation, real estate, probate and estate planning.

Sarah Gufstafson

Sarah Gustafson Sarah grew up at the Lake of the Ozarks, attending school in Camdenton, and later graduated from Missouri State University with a Master’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Before attending law school, Sarah worked for a nonprofit organization which provided behavioral health services and also worked for the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as an Investigator. Sarah graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Sarah is married to Justin Gustafson and they have a yellow lab named Bailey.
